Default Electoral Reform in Ontario

Our upcoming provincial election is a combination of a "regular" election and a referendum on whether or not to introduce an element of proportional representation to the process. The semi-proportional representation would be achieved via "Mixed Member Proportional" elections. Here's a link to the details:

Any views among the crowd here on the pros and cons of the proposed MMP system? I am leaning towards supporting it, would like to know what the masses here think.

Default Re: Electoral Reform in Ontario

If I understand it correctly it provides you vote more weight to vote for parties as opposed to individual members of parliament. Its probably a good thing for democracy and I dont see how anyone could vote against it, but as I am not voting this election I could care less.
