I will give it to one of you two who responded. So whoever PMs me first gets it. Then both of us will make a post in this thread confirming the bet.

Hack, I will bet you $20 to win $40 on the NL team to beat the AL team in the World Series. The winner will be paid via whatever poker room is OK with both of us.

Again, if NL wins you pay me $40. If AL wins I pay you $20. Do you accept?

btw, I'm willing to go up to $50 to win $100 if you want.

Anything else?

Yah I accept your $20 to win $40 bet. I think that pretty much covers it. The amount is low enough that I don't think we need to have someone hold it since we are both established posters.

Good luck.

queerzinski deserved it. There was no reason for him to lean in to Barret with his shoulder. Barret was just standing there and the prick tries to walk right through him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this a joke? Maybe Barrett shouldn't try to block the plate if he doesn't want to get run over. That's baseball.

I believe Boris was referring to after the collision when AJP got up and made contact with Barrett again.

Yes, I agree. If you are in the basepath with or without the ball, you are going to get murdered. That's it.

Looks to me like a completely clean play by AJP. This is what happens when a catcher tries to block the plate. He should know this. Most professionals do. I think it's funny that a CATCHER steamrolled him and he freaked out about it. I don't think AJP would be pulling cheapshots on another catcher since he too has to catch.

Smacking the plate is "wrong"?? Come on. Adrenaline, ever hear of it? It's not like he forearmed a guy in the neck!

Totally clean play by AJ. Barrett is a lil' bitch. He talked smack to Roy O in 2004 and it sparked the Astros making a rally to the playoffs that year.

He probably will get at least 8 or 10 games. Considering the going rate for throwing at a batter intentionally is 4. I think a point-blank forearm to the neck is a lot worse than a 90mph fastball to the shoulder.

By this, of course you mean by AJ going out of his way to walk around Barrett and Barrett bearhugging him, right?
