id jam the flop or wait for the river in the 2nd one. if he has a 9 u dont lose much value and anything else it either doesnt matter or u should wait

What if he's on a draw?

Also, as played, do you fold the river?

if he has a flush draw its pretty close and i dont think any analysis will show that either play is much better

if he has a gutshot or air u definently want to give him a chance to bluff river or make a pair in a small pot

if he has a king it doesnt matter

if he has a 5 its better to r/f river than r/c (or r/f) turn.

if he has a 9 u lose some value but not a ton. if the board comes such that hes gonna pay off a turn raise all the way hes gonna tend to vb river i would think. u also save money when he rivers u

edit: im assuming u just call a heart, 9 or a riv. q is close but prob worth raising

i dont play these games but i think u should fold riv once he crs. i dont give anyone credit for being capable of turning a 9 or k into a bluff and u dont really beat anything else

1st hand I fold 100% to unknown.

2nd hand I usually 3bet flop vs unknown (80%), the other times raise turn, and never wait till the river. I would pay off river c/r because I'm positive I've seen worse hands, whether bluffing or valuebetting, enough times to justify it. If the numbers actually work out, I don't know and I don't think I wanna know.

I think gehrigs wait til river plan is a headsup thing? cuz ranges are much wider

Fold first and call 2nd hand when he cr river, u badly need to see what he got so u can play better next hand. I dont like calling for info a lot, but against guys checkraising more then normal, I think its good.
