Leading flop is definitely better, but I thought that button may bluff if checked to.

you are basically playing short stacked here so checking is better than betting the flop, but because you are playing short i would prefer a mini raise out of the blinds - although having said that your hand screams AAxx so you may well get more action when you hit, and you can also donk out when an ace drops if its 1 opponent
