i checked the turn for pot conrol since we were deep. i was going to valuebet the river but decided i didn't want to risk a raise bluff so i thought i would c/c, i really thought he had the 8 but could also have been a busted SD or maybe even valuebetting AJ QQ? does this sound like a reasonable range? did i take a reasonable line here?

AA?? whatever

since he's aggro, the c/r on turn was a good idea, but the standard with deepstacks is to bet it anyway imo, i shove over his river bet depending on if villian horrible aggro, this is played fine

You played it super passive but that isn't necessarily horrible against an aggressive player you aren't comfortable against deep stacked. Easy river call though I'd prefer betting the turn in most cases. Not horrible though.
