1/2NL - turned flush and get 3 bet
opponent is pretty awful. The first hand he sat down, he raised to 6.00, I raised to 18.00 with QQ, he made is 54.00 and I shoved and held vs. his K9 not on my home machine, so going from memory.
He has since been potting every flop and turn and I've been folding most of the time. Stacks 300.00. I complete Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], he raises to 6.00 and I call. 12.00 FLOP: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hero check, he bets 8.00, hero call. 38.00 - Turn 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hero check: he bets 12.00, Hero c/r 50.00, he minraises to like 92.00. barf then..... |

You should reraise this flop.
I'd either shove here or call, time down, then shove the river. |

Re: 1/2NL - turned flush and get 3 bet
Why are you barfing when there are only 2 possible hands that beat you, against an opponent who you have already seen *SERIOUSLY* overvalues really bad hands, and seems incapable of slowing down?
I would be very surprised if even the nittiest of posters here comes out with anything other than "push and pump fist, knowing he's going to call even if he just has 7s2c". Is this on Full Tilt, by chance? If so, I think I've played this guy before. And if it is the same guy, you should not only push and pump, but you should start giggling in glee, because if you run slightly better than really bad, you're about to take another 4-5 buyins from him before he quits. |

5:1 on it being a different donk! [/ QUOTE ] I don't play enough cash to know if that's a really common behavior. I can't imagine anybody who does that keeping their money for long, though, so it would have to be a super-rich donk who just throws money away. There can't be *that* many, can there? Also, I realize you probably assumed the OP was exaggerating when he said villain was potting *every* flop and turn, but if it is the same guy, or somebody who plays just like him, this was no exaggeration. It was pure fact. |

Re: 1/2NL - turned flush and get 3 bet
uhhh instacall. This is a call in 6max and possibly full ring. People should realize that for the most part if it is a call in 6max, it is a snapcall heads up. This is actually a push here because he calls with any flush and any 2p/set and you don't want river cards killing your action.
If your read on him is that he bets tiny with great hands (may be the case) then you should just call down. |
