It's written off, sure, out of the employee's paycheck; yes, it was his fault, but that in no way absolves you of the duty to send it back; if you are an honest person, you will; if you're not, you won't...

I work for a concrete company and I've heard of drivers getting their load too wet and having to pay for the load. I would think that would be the same thing. |
