5X5 plus Sports is too much, What do I take off?
So Im doing 5X5 mon, wed, friday and I play ultimate frisbee tuesday and thursday nights. Frisbee is a good hour and a half to 2 hours of intense running/sprinting. My legs are normally shot after and all I want to do is lay down. This makes my legs very sore for wed's workout and fridays work out. Should I try cutting out wed leg workout and see if it gets better? Also cutting out frisbee is not an option.

Try a program with less volume, like Power to the People. It will keep you fresher, and allow you to sneak in another session or two during the week if you're up to it.
Its definitely not designed to pack on the pounds if thats what you're into. I used to do 2x5 5 times a week playing baseball and still be alright. Deadlift and a press. Anything more and its hard to do whatever kind of sport. |

Here's a suggestion:
On Wed do 50% of 1RM and work on barbell speed. low intensity low volume on short rest (7x3). OR on Wed do a lightweight 2x10 Overhead Squat. On Fri do 3x5 across Front Squats ~80-85% 1RM. |
