Hotels Near AC

Plan on staying overnight down there Saturday. I need to be in Philly on Sunday. Looking for a cheap hotel within 20-30 min from the casinos. Plan on playing all day and into the early hours of the morning. A safe area is the only criteria. Absecon dump hotels are charging $145 a night. Any help is appreciated.

We just stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Atlantic City west and it was great. A better than average motel, 10 minutes from the strip and the best part- 2pm late check out!

The seaview mariott is about 20 mins away and is usually pretty cheap in the off season. It is also pretty nice in an old people kind of way.

Both sold out. Any other suggestions. Towns on the way to Philly are ok as well.

There are a ton of cheap hotels in Absecon, which is about 5 minutes from the casinos.

Red Carpet Inn on the expressway. It's under 100$ on sat's and 5 mins from the casinos.

If you go to Exit 30 on the Parkway (Somer's Point) you can get a room at the Econo Lodge for about $49.99. There is a motel right next door that has $39 on weekends. If the Econo Lodge raises the price,(They do in the Summer and on big weekends in AC) the motel usually keeps the price the same. It's not the greatest room, but it's not bad either. All the rooms have a fridge and microwave. There's a Fridays, liquor store and diner across the road. It's about a 20-25 min. drive from the Tropicana.
