Oregon will be #2 in this week's BCS rankings, but is #3 for all intensive purposes as Kansas will definitely leapfrog them if they win out, and LSU will almost certainly remain ahead of the Ducks if THEY win out. We still need one of those two teams to lose before we can start booking tickets to the title game... plus of course we still have to win two Pac Ten road games and that pesky Civil War...

Just to recap:

Tim Tebow threw for 300 yards, 2 TDs. He ran for 120 yards and 5 TDs.

But he isn't the frontrunner for the Heisman because Dennis Dixson's team has less losses and because he is a sophomore.

[/ QUOTE ]

Tim Tebow 5 Yd Run (Joey Ijjas Kick)
Tim Tebow 1 Yd Run (Joey Ijjas Kick)
Tim Tebow 3 Yd Run (Joey Ijjas Kick)
Tim Tebow 2 Yd Run (Joey Ijjas Kick)
Tim Tebow 5 Yd Run (Joey Ijjas Kick)

big effin deal

if the Florida Gaytors (7-3) had a running back he wouldn't need to carry it in from there.

Go Ducks!

[/ QUOTE ]

Big effin deal? He had other very awesome runs & no one here, especially Gator fans are knocking DD. They're neck & neck, IMO & the rest of the season should determine the winner, but Tebow's toughest opponents are behind him & he has performed amazing.

Oh, OK, I wasn't thinking of the possibility of Kentucky losing to both Georgia and Tennessee. I'd be pretty surprised if that happened, but it is at least a reasonable scenario.

[/ QUOTE ]

The way Kentucky has been playing lately it is looking more reasonable all the time.

I think we lose to UGA and beat UT.

Yeah, Tennessee's the one I think they get too. FWIW, The Vols are 1-3 on the road this year with the only win coming by 12 over Mississippi State. The losses were by 14, 39, and 24.

Either win both or 0. As much as it pains me to say it, I'd much rather have the Vols win the east.

Jake Locker X-rays are negative, he's been released and is returning to the stadium.

Looks like Brennan might not be a lock to break the TD record after all. He just take a HUGE hit to the head and looks to have a pretty severe concussion.
