Default NL25 - Fold AA to a single flop bet?

This is a hand in which reverse implied odds should be a major consideration, correct?

SB's been around for less than 15 hands. He seems tight so far, but no real reads.

That's an awful flop.

With that said, I call in position. He may be testing a TcTd type hand.

It's only a reverse implied odds hand if you let it be.

Call and that should slow him down.

Don't put any more money into the pot.

Good point.

raise 4xbb pf please, that .85 is definitely annoying especially UTG if you are constantly doing that with premium hands its very exploitable

Call flop. Raising would be suicide.
Probably call a turn get also if it isn't huge.
Fold if he bets all 3 streets, or if 4th club hits.

Are you calling turn because you think he will read you for a one pair hand and try to push you off it?

I think if he bets again he has >AA.

I guess you could call a smallish turn but no way am I calling three bets here.

I think he was just hitting the "pot" button PF.

Normally if I'm first in, I go to .85, but I've started to mix in some 4xBB opening raises with QQ+, AK, and occasionally some other hands. On this hand I decided against it because I had been openraising a ton of pots and I thought there was a reasonable chance someone would stand up to me and reraise. I figured a bigger than ordinary bet would be easily read: when an aggro bets .85, .85, .85, .85, and then 1, that larger bet tends to be a big hand in my experience.

I do follow the 4xBB + 1 BB per limper guideline if there have been limps ahead of me.

My thinking was that he'll often double barrel his unmade hands in this spot, provided the turn card is not so scary, because it looks like someone who merely called is drawing and can be pushed off. And he's still betting all his made hands for protection or value. So if I don't know where I am after the flop bet, I won't know where I am facing a turn bet.

But I am quite new to cash games and my thinking might be all wrong. You really think that if he bets the turn, he usually has better than AA?

Thanks for the replies.
