Buying PS3 from someone who have waited in line?
I am one of the few who really wants a ps3 for myself. I am from Norway, but going to New York for a vacation this week. Because I do not want to spend my vacation waiting in line I was wondering if I have any chance of just showing up when the stores open and try to buy one from one of the guys who have waited in line?
What is the best approach to do this and how much should I expect to have to offer?

If the PS3's prices are anything like the XBOX360's were last year (which I fully expect to be) then the prices on Friday will be higher than they are right now.
Last year I remember people selling their (presale)XBOX's on Ebay for 750ish. Then the day they went on sale they were going for much more on Ebay. I averaged a little over 1k for each of the XBOX premiums that I sold. (I got 3) IIRC I got about 700 for my XBOX360 core.

Most are going for 1700+ on Ebay, so i would say minimum opening bid is 1500. [/ QUOTE ] And it will probably go up since gamestop oversold preorders again.

Alright, hopefully someone hear with some experience can give me some advice. I'm going to bestbuy to wait in line for a PS3 to sell on ebay, the store guarantees at least 20 of the most expensive ones. What time do I need to get there thursday to get a spot in line? I'm guessing sometime thursday night, but have no clue what time to show up.
