I am glad it worked out for you, but this is really bad.

Thanks, I admit I played it terrible, but that being said I was favored on the flop.

That's very unfair. He only played two streets badly, so he got it 50% right. Well done!

[/ QUOTE ]

The only street he played well was the river. The CR on the flop is not good (but not horrible either). PF and the turn are very bad.

May is fun. The huge drop at the end is me getting it in with an overpair vs. OESFD, then getting it in with pair+flush draw vs. a set, then a tilt-stack off with A9 on a 9-high board.

WTF do you do with 99 against a half-stack guy?

How about 66 against a 20BB shortie?

(they opened)

In both cases I push or fold. Against a 50bb stack, usually fold. Against the 20 bb stack, usually push.

Taking a shot and immediately getting set over set/KK v. AA is crucial.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or AA vs. KK and lose it 3 times

But running better now, playing a 38/32/8 style then switching gears after they start to tilt and its working :')

Beat: We had to rush my wife to the ER twice in the last 3 days because her heart was in tachycardia and wouldn't slow down.

Brag: There's nothing wrong with her heart, she's in v good physical condition. They think it may be panic attacks. They gave her a script for a sedative to calm her nerves if it happens again.

Variance: Very scary stuff, for both of us. Her mom spent mother's day with us in the Northwestern Emergency Room. I'm taking the next couple days off to be with her at home, even though I have a consultant in from India this week & I really need to be there.

Glad to hear things seem to be OK there Grunch.

In other news, poker really really really sucks right now. No one, and I mean no one is getting setup/colddecked like I am right now. So sick.
