you're right!

Also, if you're serious and you mean the A9 hand, its bc i have the best hand there a ton and he calls with ANY heart (esp the K or T). My plan was to bet the turn, fold to a raise and and if he calls, check behind the river.

Once he minraised, i timed all the way down and said, oh [censored] him he cant ALWAYS have 2 pair.
