I used to do spear fishing at least 40 days per year for over 12 years. It`s awesome. Haven`t been doing it much since the last 10 years, but still dream about it regulary.

If money isn't an issue, I'd recommend hitting the class that goes down to Florida. I've dove a few of the deeper wrecks off the NC coast and once was enough for me. Cold water and low visibility were never my favorite things but its still definitely better than getting certified in a quarry.

Once you get into diving and make it somewhere tropical, even just the Florida keys. You'll see what I mean.

Well the final dive is in the ocean but the other dive is in a quarry near Raleigh. Maybe I'll start playing donkaments and win the Sunday RiverStars Million... then I'd have a few grand to blow.... if only

I pretty kewl indeed, very easy so no worries.

I's got open water and advanced open water. Bonaire rules pretty hard and Madeira is nice too.

I hate being cold and wet (regardless of the use of a wetsuit) just saying I'm thinking about what until the weather warms up (even though I do realize that the water will be warmer now then it will be in the spring)

This class has caught me off gaurd, just trying to figure out what I really should do and when. Maybe now is the best time. I really have no clue.
