Of course it is along the lines that the other poster mentioned. But it is nice to see that one phrase is being taken out of context, and the bashing starts. Read the whole post pls.

People are so funny when they react to things they don't understand.
It's the same with Poker, or even trans-humanism and gerontology. No matter how much evidence is provided, on how successful activity can be, people are just unreasonably skeptical. They probably think, "It's too good to be true". It's really simple. Picking up women requires strategy and precision. If you have never put much effort into it, someone that spends 12 hours a day doing is going to be so good that you can't believe the results they achieve are actually possible, ESPECIALLY if we are cherry picking and only looking at the best in the world like we are (Mystery). How can people not understand that?

[/ QUOTE ] There's actually a show on Fuse (Directv channel 339) called "Keys to the VIP" which is shot in Toronto, where two guys compete against each other in 3 different pick-up challenges and there is a panel of analysts. Pretty similar setup as far as filming in the club (some faces are shown, some blurred etc.), but it's entertaining. Here's a Youtube clip of this show.

It got much better in the second half though and the previews for the season seem promising. It sucks that they're doing this elimination-style, I'd like to see all of them grow the whole way. Could have done it with a smaller group if necessary. I would not be surprised if Pradeep is just an actor. [/ QUOTE ] my friend is currently working for the production company that makes this show, he tells me it gets real good towards the end of the season, since some of these guys really do change in a dramatic way... from dorks terrified of talking to attractive girls, to having fun meeting and picking up attractive girls. He also said that a lot of the guys that made it on to this show were beauty and the geek rejects.

I just finally got to see episode two last night. Halfway through it, my wife turns to me and says "Tell me you didn't use any of that crap on me!"
Not laughing is very difficult in that situation. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] In general I liked the makeover episode. I think that Mystery is not a very good teacher, however. He doesn't go very much into the why of things, although it could just be that the "trimmed down for TV" version makes it look like that and they're getting a lot more information than we see. The guys doing such a horrible a job at the stock pick up lines were hilarious. It almost seemed like they would pick one that they knew didn't work for them, and try to apply it anyways. With the number of openers they got, they each should have been able to find at least one opener that worked and was natural for them... Ray
