bond issues

What do u guys think about bond issues?
I dont want to stick all my money in stocks so i want to buy some bond issues.
What do u think about it?
Some of them make 11% or up to 20% (turkey)

There is no way you're going to get any decent discussion from this post. This is a two way street, if you want to generate a useful thread you need to put some work into it. "What do you think about bonds?" is a completely unanswerable question, just like "What do you think about stocks?" would be.

I'm locking this thread. Do a little research or get some specifics about what kind of bonds you're interested in (risk free, corporate investment grade, high yield, etc) and give us some information about yourself (age, desired return, tolerance for risk, etc).

No matter how much anyone knows about bonds they're not going to be able to give you any good answers from these questions that you couldn't get from reading a text book.
