River Value Shove - Line Check
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $70.82 Hero: $65.48 SB: $75.82 BB: $123.66 Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero raises to $2, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($4.5, 2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls. Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($10.5, 2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB calls. River: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($24.5, 2 players) SB bets $16, Hero raises all-in $53.48 Hero is LAG / Villian seems fairly loose/erratic but no strong read Seemed fairly standard to me but I'd like a second opinion. I've got to raise this given image and the fact he can never put me on a flush, correct? Who likes going for a smaller raise? His range for this line looks strong - a set, maybe K10, 56 - I don't think there's much he calls a small raise with given line that he wouldn't call the shove with. Comments welcome. |

Re: River Value Shove - Line Check
villain is repping a flush. if he doesnt have it, no way he's calling this and if he does... well - chances are he's not calling you without a higher one. I just call here.
edit // he's probably putting you on a K (if he's even capable of that assumption) in which case it makes a river shove even worse. |
