Uncalled bets: $30.25 returned to Hero.

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($398.5, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $398.5)

Results:
Final pot: $398.5

Villain is playing pretty standard, nothing out of line, and he probably views me as overly aggressive given our short session so far.

My question is on turn action. Check behind or bet?

gross turn spot imo

I think you played it ok though, since I can see villain semibluffing this turn a lot.

I think the turn bet is good, I also think you NEED to fold this turn. No way villain is semi-bluff mincheckraising. you need to have the discipline to let this one go.

Bet a bit less on turn, fold to the min-raise.

Thank you for responses. I agree that betting more like $35 on turn, folding to minraise is the way to go here.

But given these responses and how we're all positive that we're beat and should be folding our overpair... maybe it's time to incorporate the min-raise turn bluff (or semi-bluffs) vs. regs that have discipline when we know they have us beat with overpairs?
