I've been thinking about this hand for a couple of hours now and the more I think about it, the more I doubt my play. Yes, I had aces, but really, that was it. Terrible low draw, rainbow, and no great chance of hitting a straight. If I would have just called, i definitly would have folded after flop as at least one of them most likely had A2, but I'm not sure if i could just call there with my hand. I have folded aces preflop before plenty of times, in fact I folded em earlier in this tournament, and I think it might have been the best thing to do in this situation. In fact, I used cardplayer.com's calculator and found out I was actually behind (barely); my chance to scoop the pot was only 37.93% compared to his 38.01% (wow, what a difference!!!)

As you can probably tell, I'm pretty confused as to how I should've played this hand. I would appreciate hearing how other people would have played it in this position. Thanks

At 20M, I would consider folding this hand unless I knew the villains tendencies very well. I might flat call here and set mine, if I was closing the action. If my M were lower, I might consider coming over the top to attempt to get it HU.

Rainbow aces with a crap low, ugh!

It's one of the weaker AA hands but you still figure to be 50% or better most of the time as long as you can get it HU, and the dead money makes it +EV. Can't be too bad of a play unless you think you can outplay the field.

With 11 M, your M for this hand, you can fold, call or push IMO. You're not quite desperate. You can take down lots of dry and Ace flops... but you should guess that at least one A is probably out there with two limpers, so you discount your chances of flopping a set. If you looked ahead to your stack after potting it preflop, you'd have made your pre-flop decision(s) based on the assumption you would be all in preflop or on any flop, and if you did that analysis, then you're fine potting/allin or folding, either or. Of course, you should have a weird feeling in your gut going to war with this hand. If you didn't before, you probably will now.
