If it affects your game it would be silly not to use it.

What pisses me off is when someone insults a fish "what a stupid bet...you are a moron" etc. and the fish leaves the table instead of donating more to my bankroll.

It is so extremely easy to hit "ignore" or whatever your site's equivalent is. I think every site allows you to turn off a particular player's chat.


IF IT IS A BAD PLAYER THIS IS A REALLY HORRIBLE THING TO DO. JUST IGNORE THEM FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYONE STRUGGLING TO MAKE MONEY PLAYING POKER.

People play poker for different reasons. If someone is pathetic and plays online poker partially b/c it gives them a thrill to be a total douche then please let them have that so they continue donating.

If you're talking about on-line, then I would just "right-click, chat = off."

You can easily turn off their silly comments if it bothers you. And you can still see other people's comments if you want.

I would rather turn off their chat than report them.

yes, about the same level of authority as a deputy or a hall monitor; it can be abused, it's not absolute and it's just enough to qualify you as a douche.
