NL50: 4bet with JJ, facing K high flop OOP
Villain is 25/19/3 over 60 hands. He'd been 3 betting me a number of times preflop. About 2 orbits ago I 4bet and he folded. He'd 3 bet at least once again since then, which I folded to.
I should have called preflop maybe given that I had no plan for what to do if he called the 4bet? $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (MP): $116.70 CO: $51.35 BTN: $179.05 SB: $51.75 BB: $11.15 UTG: $47.25 Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP) UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2</font>, CO folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $6.50</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $24</font>, BTN calls $17.50 Flop: ($48.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN checks Turn: ($48.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $30</font>, Hero ... |

What do you think his range is to call a 4bet? AK, AQ, TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA?

Re: NL50: 4bet with JJ, facing K high flop OOP
You guys are both deep, you have the odds to call for set value.
An other line: maybe get cute on a board full of low cards, such as a crai? (Don't know if this is a good strategy, but considering he's 3betting more than premium pairs only, I think this may be +EV) |
