BB checks, Hero ??

My real question is on the turn here.

I know the min raise on the button looks weird, but it's something I don't mind doing from the button with big hands and hands such as this, knowing I will have position.

What do you guys do on the turn here? After putting in a reraise on the flop with a flush draw and oesd, the turn misses, do you take the free card or push hard.

I wish I had reraised more on the flop, but live and learn.

The PF min-raise is so gross

If you make a normal raise to $14 PF, the pot on the flop is ~$30 and if you c-bet ~$25:

If me makes a real c/r over that, I would just shove it in

If he makes a mini c/r, I would just call I guess - as a shove would be an overbet - and keep playing as long as he lay me odds to hit

As played, I definately check behind turn

No reason to raise his c/r on the flop

If you had just called it and he checked the turn, a turn bet can be profitable but usually check it behind and look to hit

I wouldn't say this hand is typical of my play. Most times I fold this on the button, and usually if I decide to play I'll just do the standard 3-3.5x raise. However lately I've been mixing it up a little (Negreanu style) and I think the min-raise on the button forces them to play some hands they don't want to, out of position. But is this style totally unprofitable in a cash game setting?

Also, here's the conclusion of the hand:

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] ($138, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] ($138, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Results:
Hero had 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (King Jack high)
BB had Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Kings) and won $135
Final Pot: $135.00 ($3.00 rake)
