Actually I understand very well.

I'll agree the Veyron will beat any current ROAD car on a track, just due to its acceleration. Any possible time lost on the corners will easily be made up in the straights.

And yes, I agree that it's an amazing piece of engineering. I personally don't like the way it looks however, but that's a subjective thing. Given a choice I'd much rather have a Pagani Zonda F or something.

That second vid is against a Yamaha R1 bike, not an F1 car.

Fwiw if i wanted a supercar id rather have an Ultima GTR, but thats just me.

But ultimately for the money id rather buy a house, or multiple supercars - like a garage full of exotic tuned metal.

Oh, well i dont know anything about cars or bikes. What I do know though is the Veyron is super sick.

It's so ugly.... I would never buy it, the wight is also riducolous, the Koenigsegg CCX is so much sweeter.

and all that from an V8 engine, so almost the same performance on the straight as the Bugatti, and it is much lighter, I think that this car is actually faster arround most tracks than the Bugatti, and that for only half the price.

I dont think OP has acutally bought the car as only 500 were ever made and they were sold out before going into production. So unless he managed to get onto a very selective waiting list or somehow got it second hand, i dont think he has bought it.
