Hostel was based in Slovakia, not Czech Republic, even though it was filmed in Prague. But dont worry, i dont think that will happen! lol

Online poker is legal in the Czech Republic, i dont know of any online poker rooms that block Czech IPs.

As far as I am aware all online or brick motar gambling is tax free so i should imagine poker is too. Well i wasn't taxed when i withdrew from a site.

I'm going to be in Paris this fall. Is there any inexpensive way to make it to Prague? Rail will likely be out of the question.

Yes smart wings is a good option, but then the airport tax increase the cost.

The cheapest way to get to Prague would be through http://www.studentagency.cz/ They offer extremley cheap travel from Paris and are excellent coaches. There is a English translation tab top right of the page for you. So i would check it out!
