Mistake: Has a hard on for squeeze plays.

[/ QUOTE ]

Limp or call with premium hands when it's already opened / limped. Reraise with subpremium holdings more often, either before or after the squeeze. Be willing to play large pots with more hands than normal, when you have position and his squeeze makes it headsup.

Mistake: berates bad players

(Thanks to OP for this cool idea)

Kick him in the junk. Or explain to him in a very condescending tone how he must have played the hand badly because otherwise he wouldn't have lost it.

Well, this isn't a very big leak against most players. But...

Make your flop bets ones that can stand a raise. For example, pure bluffs, big made hands, big drawing hands that can 3bet all in.

If he's raising much more than folding, selectively 3bet bluff, and bet-call with less value than you would against most opponents.

leak: Only raises UTG with AQ+ and TT+.

If deep enough call in position with any decent holding and put alot of pressure on the NIT on alot of low flops. If he calls down too much just play the suitted connectors and low pp's until he stops paying your made hands off, then go back to bluffing alot. Rinse, repeat.

Leak: C-Bets almost every flop when checked to.

Mistake: re-raises too often preflop

Open your 4-betting range.

Check/raise a lot of flops when you decide to just call.

[/ QUOTE ]

Jim or anyone,

When you say open your 4-betting range, how would you open it? Are you more likely to 4bet AQo, 88, or 98s? Would you 4-bet bluff ever (hands like 76o)? (obviously dependant on particular opponent and stack sizes, but I'd just like if someone could expand on this topic.)

Interesting one.

Really depends on the frequency and the size of his raises, but here are a few things.

we should bet more when checked to, since he probably won't be c/ring TOO often

we should consider checking more with draws, since it will often be expensive to continue if he plays on.

You can feel free to bet smaller, a lot of the time, since you don't have to worry about pricing in draws.

Mistake: Always bets/raises pot or overpot.

if he can lay down on a scary flop, be willing to call with hands with good implied odds and be willing to take it away on a scary flop.

if he can't lay down on a scary flop, then just call with hands with good implied odds and stack him.
