uhhh, TJ's very good at NL tourneys. obv he'd prob get crushed at 50/100nl but that's beside the point...plus no money left for that game after craps.

exactly.
and there's a reason you dont hear about the 'real' modern day top players doing this. they arent afraid to play after the flop where more skill is required, whereas TJ clearly is.

Yeah he wants to cultivate a tight image late in a tournament because he's afraid. Surely there are no other possible motive / benefits.
