Default CNN \"Edits\" John Cena Interview to Make It Seem Like He Took Steroids

http://www.wwe.com/inside/cenaoncnn/

Watch the 2 videos and you will clearly see the editing job done by CNN. This is about as low as a media outlet can possibly go.

You know, I wish it were surprising, but this is pretty much par for the course with anything when it comes to WWE. There are lots of wrestlers that have used steroids, obviously, but its a lot sexier to make it sound like the most popular wrestler since The Rock and Steve Austin quit is juicing than to go talk to Davey Boy's son or Chris Masters, who was just fired from the company for violating the Wellness Policy for the 800th time.

This is why athletes have to stick to 2-3 word answers.

Why did he say "I can't tell you that I haven't..."?

Yes you can John. Tell us you haven't like you did a minute ago. How about: "I can tell you that I haven't. And you'll never be able to prove that I have."

That said...brutal job by CNN when the first thing out of his mouth is "No".

I think following the "absolutely not" before she even finished the question, it was more a reference to the fact that no matter what some athletes say, it'll never be good enough, but he's consistently going to test clean. More like "it'll never be good enough for you, but you'll never be able to get anything on me". Poor wording because it let CNN butcher the living [censored] out of his answer.

This is funny because everything I've read says Vince is really protective of his guys when they do interviews like this. That's why the WWE cameras are at every interview. Of course, the fact that people in the media despise McMahon is what leads to interviews like this, leading to more WWE controversy, and on and on and on....
