NFC +14 in the Super Bowl

Just saw this at 5dimes, not sure if this has been discussed here or not.

if you assume the SB is NE & Dallas, I think a true line is much closer to NE -10. NE was -5.5 @ Dallas this year, and while the game was pretty close for a while, I think you can make the argument that it should have been NE -7. move the game to a neutral field, and you get NE -10.

now, I think Dallas is way better than any other NFC team, so I wouldn't feel good about taking 14 points with anyone else vs NE.

if it's Indy vs Dallas, I feel very good with Dallas + 14. if someone other than Indy/NE gets through, then I love NFC + 14, but I think that's an edge case at this point.
