Default ESPN Ombudsman

This is the recent writings of Le Anne Schreibe, who is the ESPN Ombudsman. The last guy who held her job was a joke, but this lady seems to be incredibly smart and takes her job of being paid by ESPN to criticize ESPN very seriously.

Its a real long read, but for people like myself who are incredibly fed up with ESPN creating and becoming news instead of REPORTING sports news, its a breath of fresh air.

Warning: Long

I'm pretty sure this is a new article. She has written on the same theme in prior articles as well.

The article was posted the 10th, sorry if she was discussed already in the past.

I just thought that this was by far her best article, and she covers a lot of important stories that ESPN recently botched.

I enjoyed her words about the Mike Gundy story the most, it was insane how one sides the reporting was on that subject. Pretty much just douche sportwriters defending a douche sportswriter.

I'm glad she took Easterbrook to task. He's such a windbag. It's a shame because most of his football stuff is pretty solid, but he writes so much retarded crap alongside it. Not just his Patriots stuff as of late, either. Every article has some jargon about corporate irresponsibility and how the gov't should spend more to regulate some dumb issue.

And I can't stand how he always writes something like "if team A did this instead of this, then team B never scores 3 quarters later so they win the game", as if everything else about the game would go exactly the same. So dumb.
