you can open 22 from ep, but you can't call a raise

A reraise, you mean?

You certainly can, but it depends on the implied odds you're getting -- which in turn depends on effective stacks, your opponent's propensity to stack off with one pair, etc.

In a 100BB game, re-raises tend to be (if you bought in with full amount.... especially if you didn't) more than 10% of your stack. While your going to hit a set 12% of the time.... to think you have implied odds of getting him all in isn't that likely for MOST players.

Pocket 22s with re-raise = almost always fold. I really don't see this being +EV in any 100BB game.

Calling a re-raise with 22 doesn't sound profitable. Even if you flop a set, your opponent may flop a good draw and hit it, which may end up stacking you.

If your opponent is re-raising with anything except Aces he may fold because an overcard comes or he may have AK and fold because he missed the flop.
