I love your self description: Once a week I mix in a salad, other than that, it's anything goes. Oh. In May I had some broccoli, or maybe it was asparagus, whatever. Funny.

Good luck on your plan.

really. i dont know anything about this but I always listen to howard stern in the morning and Robin did the 21 pounds in 21 days diet. And after she lost 22 pounds or something I thought she looked skinnier in pictures. they were not photoshopped or anything. Just regular ones they put on the site.

I would think it would make you look skinnier just using common sense. Like if I take a diuretic to get ripped before a bodybuiding contest you look skinner/more ripped.

I believe it does too. Pro bodybuilders are known to sodium load about a week prior to competition, then completely dehydrate themselves right before to get added definition. Hold on, I will try to find a really cool thread on BB.com about a guy who went from 10% down to 6% bf in about 4 weeks, but used all sorts of tricks to make the change look absolutely phenomenal.

Edit: He actually has 2 threads - 1 is more of a journal detailing his progress and outlining his methods

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2113371

Here is his results thread

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2583541

Edit 2: Here are the pics of the transformation in case anyone doesn't actually want to read the thread. Just posting them cuz I think it's amazing.

Look in the mirror at yourself with your shoulders hunched and your stomach pooched out and then just flex. Throw in bad lighting and goofy clothing and you can shed 10 pounds in like 15 minutes.

Losing water weight on

Two examples BOTH WEIGH 200 POUNDS

Subject A. 7& bodyfat and Subject B. 25% bodyfat

Subject A. 7% bodyfat
-This man will look way more ripped and thinner and less fat with proper forced water loss.

Subject A had 14 pounds of fat. Losing 10 pounds of water loss and now there is a much higher percentage of lean body mass weight compared to fat weight.

Subject B who is 25% bodyfat with 50 pounds of fat.

The 25% bf person won't look much thinner with a 10 pound water loss because there is still 50 pounds of fat blocking the muscle definition.

With the B. fat person carrying around over 3.5 times more fat than A. (14 lbs v. 50 lbs, the water loss won't work as well. Do you see why?

Basicly, if you are fat don't try forced water loss like contest bodybuilders do.

Nitting it up a little here, but water is considered lean body mass, so bodyfat % actually rises.

Yes you are right. I should have previewed my post.

I think my main point was correct about how bodyfat levels greatly influence the display of leanness and definition after water loss.
