Pitcher in Japan suspended for male-pattern baldness
An American playing baseball in Japan has been suspended for 20 games for testing positive for a banned substance. The substance was a hair-growth drug which can be used as a masking agent for other drugs.
Come on, he's got to feel bad enough about losing his hair. Don't take the ball out of his hands! http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slu...&type=lgns |

This happened in the Olympics, too. I hear Propecia works really well as a masking agent.

Re: Pitcher in Japan suspended for male-pattern baldness
kyleb,
There was a guy that was a gold medal contender in the Skeleton in the Olympics (I know I know who cares about the Skeleton) that worked out at the same gym as myself that got the boot from the last winter Olympics b/c of Propecia. I felt bad for him, he busted his ass for 4 years for one solitary event and then it turns out he is broke...I still made fun of him when he got back to the states though. |

Propecia is for preventing hair loss - obv. it has worked for him.

Re: Pitcher in Japan suspended for male-pattern baldness
So he was suspended for a drug, not for having male-pattern baldness. Misleading thread.
