Default Just to confirm.....this is what we do, right???

I've had a very bummed out morning. 4 tables at 100NL and i;m down $260 and the biggest pot i lost was $30 and the biggest won was $24.....so just plain boring......wasn't hitting when they played back, and when i did hit they folded to my Cb. Thanks for listening to my whine here, but really, with really tiny pairs 22 to 77 i have read that many pros only play them from the CO and button. Here i am in EP. Is my call correct, or should i have folded preflop. ???

I sort of already have pretty solid ideas aboutthis, but a little review never hurts to just go over the basic. Any comments appreciated.

Raise PF, but limping is okay I guess so long as you have a good limp strategy and you're not just limping pairs for set value and nothing else. Raising PF is standard though.

Flop is standard and is exactly why you should be raising PF. You want to be the one with the initiative, and the one who takes it down when you both have mid pairs and an ace flops.

If you're gonna limp/call then this is just about the only possible flop action. Standard is to raise with your fives in the first place tho.

Definately raise PF here. Open limping this is pretty bad imo.

Wow, 4 of you are unanimous on raising this preflop. What do you do if reraised...call, or fold?

When you miss the flop and you will 7 out of 8 times, do you CB it anyway against 1 player if not more?

What is the overall outcome when you go with this strategy for small pairs over several thousand hands???? Are you perceived as tricky, loose, weak for not CBing into 2 or more callers...etc....thoughts please..??

Limpcall from EP pretty much announces your hand. BTN will c-bet here on any flop containing a Jack or higher. That's why i think you should raise PF, unless your opposition 3-bets light. In that case, small PPs in EP should be folded.

if you limp, you have to fold.
I agree with the rest of the posters .. you should have raised PF to thin the field and take initiative since you are EP.

Those questions are way too general to really answer. You just raise PF and go from there. As for how we are perceived, I would say it's just completely standard to raise 55 UTG 6-handed and nobody would think anything of it one way or the other.

I and I think most on this forum raise all pockets from any position. Your preflop call and flop play are ridiculously standard.
