It's kind of impressive when you think about the influence some of these guys are starting to have on televised poker.

Congrats. Can you explain how you went about getting on?

Day three, the minbuyin is $500k, and the table is kinda tough.

Ok, quick question for somebody whose poker thinking I really respect: In season 3 did you feel that all the deepstacking detracted from the game, as it seemed the players were very tentative about playing so deep? Or were they just being properly cautious?

I just watched season 3 so it's fresh in my mind.

first, gl jman...

^^cc, deep stack poker allows the players to show of their skills, like when booth bluffed ivey and got him to fold KK, i'm not sure how much ivey had, but a strong overbet like that by booth had to have an effect...

yea, they prolly played a bit more cautious, but it's more exciting deepstacked and while last season might not have always showed it, but more skill is required imo...

I think deepstack poker is more challenging and brings out some crazy sick plays.

It slows the action though for the TV audience.

Honestly, I'm more comfortable around 100bbs, but I'm looking forward to the challenge of playing deep.
