Last April, Nuggets guard Julius Hodge was shot while driving on Interstate 76 in Denver. In 2003, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter, who played at Colorado State, was shot outside a Denver sports bar.

as I recall there was recently a hit and run where a guy drove over a women her infant in baby carriage and the father in downtown Den ver

"Later police reports said that Williams sexually assaulted and molested the girlfriend of Colorado Avalanche center Joe Sakic. Those reports are currently being investigated by various Denver and Colorado state law enforcement agencies. Goaltender Jose Theodore was deemed a leading suspect on January 2, 2007."
