UPC on WGN Superstation - 3 nights a week starting January

Checking the schedule on SuperStationWGN.com: the UPC will air 3 nights a week starting in January, on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings at 3am ET (midnight PT).

"Cash Poker" is supposed to fill the Saturday morning 3am ET slot on WGN SuperStation starting January 20 according to the info on ultimatepokerchallenge.com

The UPC has video of over a dozen $340 buy-in tourneys that hasn't aired yet. So far, WGN SuperStation has only aired the first 5 $660 buy-in UPC events.

The $340 buy-in UPC events starting from October 2006 started airing on WGN SuperStation on the morning of Wednesday January 10. They are supposed to air on Wednesdays and Fridays at 3am Eastern.

The one that aired on January 10 was from October 14-15. (I was in the audience for the taping, as my client was at the final table, in seat 7.)

The one with me at the final table, from October 22-23, should be airing on the morning of Friday, January 19.

Horrible play in these events. Sometimes very tough to watch.

The $340 buy-in events in October were especially bad because of the short starting chip stacks with only 2000 chips and 25-25 blinds in the first level during the first week.

That was changed to 3000 chips and 25-25 blinds in the first level starting with the 2nd week. That still did NOT offer much play when I got to the final table, as 4 out of 7 players had less than 10 times the big blind once we got there.

The structure for the $340 buy-in UPC events has improved considerably since December, with 6000 chips to start and 25-50 blinds in the first level.

Is this the tourney where JJ Liu busted in about 4th or 5th? I think I am watching this right now. Literally every other commercial is Kenna James and some lame ad for CashPoker. They did have a decent commercial for Doyles Room with Pamela Anderson.

Show 3120 ($340 buy-in from October 14-15) was aired on Wednesday January 10 at 3am ET. (JJ Liu finished 4th in that one.)

Show 3121 ($340 buy-in from October 15-16) is supposed to air on Friday January 12.

Show 3172 ($660 buy-in from November 20-21) is supposed to air on Saturday January 13.

The Saturday 3am ET/midnight PT slot on WGN SuperStation starting January 20 is supposed to be filled with the new Cash Poker series, which was filmed on December 20.

I was at the final table of Show 3131 ($340 buy-in from October 22-23), which I believe is supposed to air on Friday January 19.
