Is Oliver Vicky's agent? [/ QUOTE ] It is my assumption that Ms. Coren already has one or more London-based agents and/or managers who are handling her entertainment business needs. |

Re: EPT London - Victoria Coren
[ QUOTE ]
She is already a successful journalist without poker, and recently started writing a poker column for "the Guardian" newspaper here in the UK. I would have thought this win would validate her respect in the poker community, and would increase exposure with her being the first female winner. PS-She's got a nice pair of Bullets-which should do no harm too. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, the Guardian reinstated her column?!? She was writing that column for the Guardian long before poker 'blew up' and it was dropped due to lack of interest at the time (if memory serves). Anyway, good on her. I remember her from back in the days of late night poker - i hope she does as well out of this as she wants, though im very sure going pro is not at the top of her list of wants and needs. Re the smoking, its not really an issue as: a, gamblers have a higher % of smokers than society in general b, this will never become an issue as the vast majority of casinos are non smoking so it wont be shown on camera in a tourney, nor will it be shown in advertisements for the site in question c, smoking is cool |

Furthermore, a spokeswoman who smokes will also need to use lots of breath mints during personal appearances, as no one wants to speak with a spokeswoman whose breath smells like an ash tray. Ms. Coren's handlers (agents, publicists, managers, plastic surgeons, etc. etc. etc.) will be the ones dealing with her. |

Re: EPT London - Victoria Coren
Yep, that's one image killer that's for sure. I remember watching her smoke cigarettes in a celebrity poker showdown and it was a big turnoff. I'm sure if she's going to sign a huge contract that she will be forbidden to smoke in public in the future.

Re: EPT London - Victoria Coren
Was she the woman sitting at the table with Victor Goulding during his appearance on the 2005 WSOP episodes?
