If you're quicker about mucking, specifically if your cards touch the muck, they won't (should not) show your hand on grounds that it may be intermixed with other people's cards. So be quicker about mucking if this really bothers you.

not even mucking will help sometimes, i played at seneca niagara this wknd, mucked my hand after the other guy turned over his cards after an AI, he reached into the muck while the dealer was pushing the pot and turned over my cards that were at most 10% sticking out

Note that FW is also attemting to disallow "HU checking hands down". Which should eliminate a legitamite use of IWTSTH.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, what?

I'm assuming you mean explicitly talking about checking it down, which will really do not very much.

Yes, that is what I was talking about. They have always disallowed explicit HU check downs in tournament play and are now going to apply it to cash games as well.

I agree with you that the policy doesn't change things too much.

However, this is one of the few times that I think IWTSTH is legitamite. When two people have raised and gotten it HU and then explicitly check it down, I want to see both hands to see if there was any mischief, conscious or not.

Flop comes out, button bets, MP calls, i call.
Turn, button shortstacking, pushes, MP calls, i call.
River, MP checks, i check.

[ QUOTE ]
Any player dealt in may request to see a called hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

Am I the only one here seeing that he didn't bet, he only called and therefore IWTSTH doesn't apply?

Wow, SuperNit alert. Any hand that can make a claim at showdown is eligible for IWTSTH.
