FTP laggy and choppy?

So I've been playing at Stars for a while, but Full Tilt gave me a free bonus to come back, so I decided to try it out. I did my normal thing of multitabling 7-8 SNGs and... wow, Full tilt is amazingly slow and non-responsive. Everything is choppy and I often have to click multiple times to get to the table I want and click the command I want for that table. Is this experience normal?
