Plastic deteriorates, especially the clear soft ones. Chemicals would leech into the wine.

I was on a business trip at the beginning of April. I've only posted sporadically since I got back. Actually, compared to some of these guys, I only post sporadically when I'm posting frequently. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I packed wine bottles in checked baggage to and from Spain a couple of months ago. You can buy cardboard wine tubes which help alot, but wrapping in clothes works too.
