Default $25NL 3bet pot... spew or good bluff?

Villain is 16/14/2.5 in a relatively small sample. Seems solid yet transparent. This is my 2nd 3bet pot in which he 3betted. Last time he c-betted OOP and I folded.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($25.25)
SB ($24.75)
BB ($23.45)
UTG ($25.25)
MP ($28.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB raises to $3.25, 1 fold, Hero calls $2.25.

Flop: ($6.75) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.25, SB calls $4.25.

Turn: ($15.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $17.75 (All-In)

Fold to his preflop 3-bet. Turn seems pretty spewy to me. I don't really like it.

I fold pf, because unless he has AA KK he's not going to give u enough action when u hit, which will be rare. Your bluff is alright i guess, you have tons of FE, but I'd like to have some outs in these spots though.

it's easy to get annoyed when someone comes over u from the blinds more than once in a short period of time, but just wait til u have a better hand pf to call. as for the shove i think it's pretty unnecessary, i'd check behind to see the river at least.

given villain is solid, wouldn't you say most of his range that beats ours would CRAI or at least lead out on the flop?

Honestly, with like AK I'm probably looking you up here on the turn. The all-in shove on this kind of board absolutely reeks of desperation. Especially given your history with the guy. If you're going to bluff that you've got an overpair, play the hand like an overpair would. And an overpair is looking for value here, not racing to get it all in.

I think from calling the pf reraise onwards, this is almost all spew.

I think this is a perfect spot to rep JJ or QQ here. I am not looking to value bet here but am looking to protect my hand. And there is no way your standard 25NL TAG will look this up enough with AK to be unprofitable if in fact he does have AK.

What I meant was, his 3-betting range probably is not wide enough to include AQ and below. Which means his range is pretty much AK & TT+. Which means if he's looking you up with AK some of the time, and with the rest of them all of the time, then you're losing a lot of money in the long run.
