Default $114: 5 handed, kinda sick spot with JJ

No real reads, I'm running a lot of tables and haven't been paying a lot of attention to how this guy has been playing. Sharkscope has him down a little bit after like 75 games and his average stake is $17. Normally I don't think twice about how I played this (and against some people I might just reshove pf) but we're both pretty deep. Should I be considering folding here?

This is way above the stakes I play but that flop overbet looks weird and coupled with the crappy minraise pf I would call this.

I don't play this high, but I would think BB re-raises lighter vs you since you opened on the btn. I can't see not shoving in pf against a relative unknown who's avg stake is $17. Flop you have to call.

Kind of a gross spot but I think you have to call. The big flop overbet seems a little strange for QQ-AA.

Real tough spot, especially considering stack sizes.

You beat AK and 99, but that is it. He easily could have AA-TT. This would be a very bizarre line with 99. I could see him having AK and playing it like this.

I probably fold here and move on.

I fistpump call AA,KK, and probably call QQ, too (no fistpump, though).

Folding leaves you in 2nd place, calling and losing cripples you.

i'm calling here. people can get a bit pissy button vs bb.

if you fold you have 3200 chips 5-handed. a nice spot but still work to do to make the money. if you win this you are now on the bubble with a huge stack and can really pwn.

i said fold, most people are saying call. what do you put bb on? AK? AT? 99?

Just curious.

Yeah, I could see AK and possibly 99. Judging by his pf play, AA/KK seem pretty likely, as does QQ. I could see TT as well, but I can't imagine him shoving TT on this flop and shoving AA/KK on this flop also seems a little strange as DDbeast said earlier. Also, as John stated, people will do crazy things once in a while from the bb facing a button raise, and he should also be able to tell that he can put a lot of pressure on me given stack sizes, which can widen his range IMO.

I would call too, would be suprised to see him playing KK/AA this fast on the flop, and would be shocked if it was TT as someone suggested. I would think you'd see a CRAI with those hands (and AT as well) but every villian is different

He could have 77-99 and feel that you would have reraised pre with a bigger pair, and doesnt want to give you a chance to bet him off the hand or catch an overcard? That would be my best guess. If we see him doi ng this with AK, why not AQ, AJ, even AT?

I would think most $17 av stake players would tighten up playing 5x the stake, but you never can know forsure.

Talked about this with ryanghall and if we are calling a shove on underard flop why are we not shoving over him preflop ... you said against some people you would reshove pf, why not this player? And who do you do it against? regs? lags? Also i would have made it 600 pf
