Default Intelligent responses only: Why all the AP and UB hatred?

I've been a player on AP for about a year and a half and i just signed onto UB to take advantage of their initial deposit bonus... I've had success on both sites, i've never had a cash out or deposit problem, and i've never felt victimized by the support staff or by collusion from players.

Someone please explain to me why everyone thinks these sites suck

AP's security was almost certainly compromised by a set of "superuser" accounts who could see the hole cards of high-limit players, netting hundreds of thousands of dollars of winnings from innocent players on the site, many of them 2+2'ers. AP and UB have a long-standing history of terrible cashout problems, random and unnecessary security locks, giving out players' identities to unauthorized individuals at the drop of a hat (see also: yellowsub/limitninja), bad game selection for various reasons that I can't mention, and constantly going back on their words about bonuses, promotions, and rakeback pay.

Does that answer it for you?

I left UB went they broke their hand histories on purpose so they wouldn't work with Poker Tracker.

This was about two bonus system changes ago, when I was making maybe $1 an hour per micro table. Now I hear it's even worse. They had bonus all the time, and the earning system was sweet (instant, leave the table it's there), but it I had so much bonus saved up that it was going to take me forever to clear it.

Around that time, I had noticed that there weren't that many Omaha 8 games going at the stakes I was playing, and there were quite a few more at Stars and/or Full Tilt. So I left, and I haven't been back.

I'd look to see how much pending bonus money I have on there, but I don't want to encourage them by installing their software on any of my boxen, which are all new since then and haven't had it on there.

Ultimate Bet: troubles collecting hand histories; fast for multitabling fixed limit, but quite bad for multitabling no limit; difficult to make graphics skins; fubar software upgrades; repeated changes that hurt players financially, such as rake changes, bonus terms, and rakeback terms/rates.

Absolute Poker: repeated changes that hurt players financially, such as rake changes, bonus terms, and rakeback terms/rates; slow software (but not slower than Poker Stars); squeezing out of prop players and affiliates; major cheating scandal.

Both site's software seems to be stagnating - at least none of the changes are for benefit of the players. Although I think the Absolute software is still one of the best in the industry except for the hand playing speed. Now we have the BBJ tables, which is another rake increase.
