Im not 4-betting to 20 and then folding. We have 30% equity vs KK... which is as likely as AA. More likely still is QQ and we have put in 40% ofour stack,

I think 4-bet and call shove is fine here. But how would this change if we 4 bet and then the cut off shoves? Obviously his PFR of 7 is meaningless over 14 hands but say this were over 140 hands would you still call the shove?

After 4 betting you are committed to the hand...

An 81/20 3bets stuff like A8o and call a 4bet. You are so far ahead of his 4bet calling range.

4-bet shove, all day every day. You might consider folding if you were two buy-ins deep or more, and one of the three-bettor had you covered. but not now

Ok seems everyone's pretty clear about this... FWIW... the CO called and they eventually got it in on the turn on a low board and the CO turned over AA and the SB turned over QQ, which is probably why I felt kinda good about the laydown.

This time it turned out to not be so bad (being that villain had AA), but anytime I see an 80/20 with 100BB effective stacks with AKs in this situation I'll push unless I have a dead solid read (which with an 80/20 that read is normally - he has crap). I see a raise to 20 to try and isolate the maniac as the same really as a push, since as stated above, if I put 20 in I'm calling a push. Good fold, this time, but next time - ride that gambooool train to gravy town.

I'm probably one of the nittier players here and I advocated to get it all in. I datamine and actively seek out tables with 80/20s and the like. They reraise with hands like JK and 88 ALL the time.

I admit in this hand I was more concerned about the guy who originally raised.

Against the 80/20s range, you're easily in decent shape.

Of course sometimes even the craziest maniacs have a hand.
