I dont know if we should call here. Is he doing it with AQ? Which hand do we beat?
4:1 are good odds, but i got a feeling that we are down to 4 outs.

What did he have?

Another thing popped into my mind. His most likely hand is probably AJ, since he didn't raise the flop. Could someone do an equity calculation with that in mind? If no one is up for it, I'll do it later, but I don't have the time now.

Also, he might decide to go wacky with a flush draw, which pumps up our equity a bit. Ah well, this one could be as complex as you'd like...

Reading again, maybe we are really down to 4 outs. But I'd call anyway.

What did he have? (when I asked about the next move, I wanted to know if you called or folded)

You dont have to!!!
Calling is not terrible, but as i said above, it looks like a better hand than just toppair.

This is a typical situation, where players tend to call because of the potodds, but if we analyze the situation, why would villain push on the turn without a reasonable hand.

IMO, if your not prepared to call a shove, then you shouldn't be betting the turn.

Should we check here and give villain a free card?
