I go on tilt after loosing even a little bit of my PROFIT.
When on tilt I go up to stakes that are def too high for my bankroll.
I play too high for my bankroll always.
When I call a preflop raise and an ace comes on the flop and my opponent bets I feel lost.
I call on the flop w/ a pair draw when theres a lot in the pot (this is correct to do sometimes but not always)
I try to get even, even if the players are playing much better than me.

if I get up a lot early in a session I just leave. Really really bad habit.

I'm curious about these. How do you guys decide when to end a session?

I usually either set a time, or if I'm up big at the beginning, I'll end it when I start steadily losing, which generally happens after a couple hours.

Thoughts?

Thaz, i have thought about maximizing session expectations a ton--- here is what I have come up with

- I will generally have a set amount of hands in mind and play until that point regardless of results (unless im mega tilting)

- the exception to this rule is if I'm on a big rush--- what I have found about rush's, especially in long sessions--- is that poker has away of leveling off rush's--- most rush's are created by good play on top of running good, eventually you will run bad--- if i run up like 6 bi in 500 hands and then I lose like half a buyin I'll just quit--- even if i intended on playing 2k hands---- 5.5 bi is a good result for 2k hands---- so even though i could play the last 1500--- my experience is its better to just come back and play later

i play rush's like this b/c generally my rush's are followed by big downswings in the same sessions--- but if i break it up i can sustain rush's longer

its kind of like having a losing month after a huge winning month--- something to do with state of mind

I NEVER give the 50/30/3 types credit for AA / KK or flopped sets, but they do obv have it sometimes....

I have no idea when my overpair or AK (when I flop TPTK) is beaten. I lose so much money because of this

my 3 bet pre flop was called by T3o and he takes a big part of my stack with his 2 pair.

- I am constantly looking back at my poker tracker to see what my stats are even though it shows me individual stats per table on my hud.
- Too results oriented, always checking poker tracker to see profit/loss.
- Find myself in weird situations more than I should.
- Not extracting enough value on my big hands, I think it should be easier for me to stack my opponents.
- Not playing enough hands, hard to get motivated at this level when a big day doesn't really amount to anything.

Where is the strengths thread, I have done a lot lately to improve my game, the list was much longer about a week ago

You gotta be careful not to be results oriented here. Alot of donks that luckbox out with flopping 2 pair here will also call down with top pair 3 kicker. Make sure you take these guys to value-town and not let the times you get unlucky lead to you slowing down and losing value against these guys.
