Default Share internet connection between computers

I'm looking for something that will allow me to share internet connection between three computers. I know I router can let me do this. But I don't need the firewall capability. Is there some product I could use that "just" shares the internet connection? Or am I better of just getting a router?

A router is pretty cheap and easy. But if you have an extra ethernet card in one machine, it can share its connection with another machine. This feature is built into Windows. It's called "Connection Sharing" or something.
