Re: Hevad \"RaiNKhAN\" Khan joins team PokerStars
If it wasn't an act he's not a douchebag imo.
If it was an act then it was smart because it landed him a deal, thus making him not a douchebag imo. Nh. |

Re: Hevad \"RaiNKhAN\" Khan joins team PokerStars
i would be inclined to say it's not an act. i watched him play at the 2007 wsop and he acted the same with or without cameras. plus, he was never mean to any of the other players at his table, just really excitable and into the moment.

If this is really how he acts all the time, that's probably worse than it being an act.

If he is like this 100% of the time (which he was not from my observation) that only makes it worse. It certainly does not excuse the behavior. Is everyone still in kindergarten around here? This is amazing to me. |

I was a big fan of Rain until I read that basically he was turning on and off his act for the camera. Just being joyfully spastic is awesome. Faking being spastic to get attention, that's lame. [/ QUOTE ] If this is the case that is pretty lame. I absolutely hate fake people like that. This reminds me of a few friends ive had in the past who would act completely different depending on the people around them. i hate fake people |

Re: Hevad \"RaiNKhAN\" Khan joins team PokerStars
IMO, there's nothing wrong with being excitable. Yeah, it may be annoying, but IMO not nearly as bad as the "YAAAAAAAAA" guy from Raymer's WSOP year. And I didn't think he was a bad kid either. Some people need to release the pent-up anxiety that is neccesarily a part of tourney poker. For some it means doing silly dances with chairs on there heads (awesome, IMO...) for others it's a simple fist pump. For others it's lol, berateaments.
In many ways, chair dance is far less douchey than "pass me the sugar!" |

Khan is not a fake, he's just a bit crazy.
It's fine to dislike him for that, but some of these posts are out of line, you guys all come off as bitter grumpy old men. |

[/ QUOTE ] The two guys seem pretty much on par to me. I think Khan just gets better PR because more people knew him ahead of time and he's considered more of a peer. |
