Default san fran restuarant

hi all, i am heading to this dinner at farrallon tonight. any tips on what to order? thanks

Their menu changes regularly. Can't help you much.

I took a bunch of Swiss clients there once. They all got steaks.

review:

lobster roll for appetizer: excellent flavor, a bit small but whet the appetite
striped bass for entree: pretty good, i enjoyed it although i typically i am not a huge fan of fish. served with good potatoes and some tasty peppers
desert: cheesecake with peanut butter flavor. very rich, once i got past that it was quite tasty

to drink: a couple bottles of pinot noir which went with the fish well.

service was pretty good, although there was quite some lag between our first and second bottles of wine. the staff adjusted to our abbreviated time schedule (only 2 hours as some had a flight to catch) and treated us well. we had a good half an hour to 45 min between appetizer and main course which was a bit much. they did provide a mushroom bisque complimentary which was very flavorful, i would actually enjoy a bowl of that.
